Frequently asked questions
Do I need to own Rey to apply?
No. You need a site, a YouTube channel or a newsletter where you write about WordPress or WooCommerce.
How is a sale credited to me?
Your link stores a cookie in the reader's browser for 60 days. If they buy Rey from that browser in that time, the sale is yours. When two affiliates send the same reader, the first click counts.
Do renewals earn a commission?
No. You earn 30% of a new customer's first payment. Renewals and customers who already own Rey are not commissioned.
Where can I share my link?
On the sites approved with your application, on social networks such as YouTube and in your own newsletter. Search ads on the Rey name are not allowed.
When and how am I paid?
Freemius sends payouts once a month through PayPal, when your balance is at least $100. Refunded sales do not count.
Where do I see my clicks and sales?
In your Freemius affiliate dashboard. When your application is approved, Freemius emails your link and a button to set your dashboard password.
Can I buy Rey through my own link?
No. The terms do not allow using your link to get a discount for yourself, or passing part of your commission back to buyers.
